Outreach Programs

While located in Dickson, Tennessee, by no means do the wonders of the Renaissance Center stop there. Our talented and creative staff is working on ways to bring the excitement of our programs to surrounding communities and schools through various outreach programs.

Cable Access - The Renaissance Channel

The Dickson County Dinner Bell, from The Renaissance Channel The Renaissance Center is also sponsoring a community access cable TV channel that is available on Dickson Intermedia Cable Channel 19. Eagle Squadron

One of the Eagle Squadron's Diamond Katana Aircraft The original Jackson Foundation outreach program is Eagle Squadron. Dickson and Hickman County high school students of excellent character and academic standing are invited to participate in this ground-breaking program. Eagle Squadron allows young men and women a chance to serve their community and learn valuable aviation skills while still in school. Since 1996, more than 250 students have completed ground school and more than 35 have gone on to obtain their private pilot license. Eagle Squadron members sign a code of conduct and pledge to remain drug & alcohol free during their term of service.
