Registration Policies and Refund Information
REGISTRATION INFORMATION for MUSIC and LEARNING LAB TUTORING may differ from the information presented below.
READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE REGISTERING:
- No early registration will be accepted by the Registration Department.
- Tuition for registration, after a class has started, will not be prorated.
- Students with a balance from a previous semester must clear their account before registering for a new semester.
- Students are responsible for receipts and/or proof of payment should any discrepancies occur in their account balance.
READ THE FOLLOWING CONCERNING REFUNDS:
- All refund requests should be made to the Registration Department upon class termination. Students with an outstanding balance will not receive a refund until the amount is first applied to that balance. Please allow 10- 14 days for processing.
- Non-refundable deposits for specific courses (as stated) are non-refundable.
- In the event a class is cancelled, a student will be given the option of a refund or an alternate class choice. After 14 days, if no response is received from the student, a credit to be used within the facility will be issued.
TUITION PAYMENT/REFUND INFORMATION
SEMESTER CLASSES ONLY
Semester classes meet weekly, bi-weekly or daily for a minimum of one month and usually last for 15 weeks. Classes in this category may be: visual art, performing arts, MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, Cisco and specific animation courses.
Payment Policy
All classes with tuition less than $400 must be paid one week prior to the first class.
*Students registering less than one week prior to a beginning class date, must make full payment at the time of registration.
REFUND POLICY FOR WITHDRAWAL
- One week before the first class date, the student may receive a 100% refund.
- Less than one week and up to the first class date, the student may receive a 75% refund.
- Before and up to the second class date, the student may receive 50% of the class tuition.
- No refunds will be given after the second class has occurred.
- *Late registration followed by a withdrawal, will be charged an additional $20 fee.
NON-SEMESTER CLASSES/WORKSHOPS
Non-semester classes could be one- to three-day workshops or a weeklong boot camp but will always last for less than one month. Classes in this category may include: visual art workshops, music workshops, drama workshops, and computer workshops.
PAYMENT POLICY
These classes must be paid in full one week prior to the first class date.
REFUND POLICY FOR WITHDRAWAL
- One week before the class occurrence, the student will receive a 100% refund.
- Less than one week and up to the class occurrence, the student may receive a percentage refund, which includes a withdrawal fee and any cost of supplies ordered, to be no less than $20.
- No refund will be given to the student who notifies the Registration Department that they did not attend the class or workshop after it has occurred.
