Renaissance Center Fine Arts Department part of Friday Night Lights lineup

The Renaissance Center’s fine arts departments will be participating in the Friday Night Lights programs with entertainment offered in Holland Park in downtown Dickson through the summer.
Representatives from the theatre arts, music, visual arts and dance programs at The Renaissance Center are scheduled as part of the programs offered on the third Friday nights of each month May through October.
Friday Night Lights is a program promoting the arts and sponsored by the City of Dickson Parks and Recreation Department, The Renaissance Center, The Dickson County Chamber of Commerce, Community Arts Development of Dickson County and downtown Dickson businesses.
Each Friday Night Lights program features entertainment, exhibits and activities from area arts and cultural groups 6-9 p.m. at Holland Park, next door to the Frank G. Clement Birthplace.
Programs from The Renaissance Center scheduled to participate are:
May 19: Dance instructors Marci Murphree and Davileen McNeely and students; The Renaissance Center Chamber Choir, and a children’s art activity with the Visual Arts Department;
June 16: The Renaissance Players present scenes from their production of Guys and Dolls;
Aug. 18: Dance instructors Marci Murphree and Davileen McNeely and students; scenes from the Gaslight Dinner Theatre production of Smoke on the Mountain;
Oct. 6: The Renaissance Center Jazz Band and members of the cast of the Renaissance Players production of Dracula.
