Tennessee’s Wild Side has been named best outdoor show in the country

For the second time, Tennessee’s Wild Side has been named best outdoor show in the country by the Association of Conservation Information, Inc..

This prestigious National First Place Award was accepted at a conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by Don King, chief of information and education for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA). Tennessee’s Wild Side is produced in partnership by TWRA and The Renaissance Center.

Tennessee’s Wild Side overcame tough competition by TV shows produced in states all across the country to win the top honor. The show also won first place in 2005.

Tennessee’s Wild Side is broadcast by all PBS stations in Tennessee and Kentucky, and is streamed on-line at www.myoutdoortv.com. The show has also won numerous regional Emmy Awards since going on the air nine years ago.
