Renaissance Center computer camp includes fun in the sun

Interested in a summer camp experience that includes professional computer instruction but still provides some fun in the sun?
Then you’ll want to sign up quickly for the new Renaissance Technology Solutions Computer Camp being offered July 18-22 for students ages 10-14.
The professional staff of Renaissance Technology Solutions (RTS), a division of The Renaissance Center in Dickson, will present daily camp sessions covering office applications, digital photo/video editing, web site design and much more. In addition, the RTS Computer Camp includes thrilling shows in The Renaissance Center’s CyberSphere Digital Theater and afternoons swimming in Dickson County’s largest swimming pool at Camp Renaissance.
Tuition for the one-week camp is $275 and registration is limited to 25 students. The fee includes daily snacks, lunch and transportation to and from Camp Renaissance.
Each camp day will consist of sessions on a different computer topic, including office applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, digital photo/video editing, basic web site design, advanced web design and computer hardware topics such as upgrading your computer.
Each day’s topic will include class projects and time to work on them using the advanced technology available in The Renaissance Center’s computer lab.
Each day also includes recreation breaks with either a planetarium or laser music show in the CyberSphere, an afternoon swimming session or supervised time for gaming and Internet surfing.
Lunch and snacks are provided by the Faraday Café.
