Pianist Jeff Martin, director of Music Technology at The Renaissance Center, and friends present an evening of Gospel music in the Performance Hall of The Renaissance Center Saturday, Sept. 9.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. Jeff Martin and Friends concert are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children under 13.
The concert also serves as a release celebration for Martin’s latest CD, Gospel Favorites Vol. II, which will be available for the first time that night.
Martin is a piano and composition instructor at The Renaissance Center. He has performed in several concerts at the center and served as musical director for Renaissance Players productions of Fiddler on the Roof and Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as the Mind Enriching Theatre series production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
At previous concerts, Jeff’s friends have included Grand Ole Opry fiddler Hoot Hester, Tony Hendrix (former drummer for Skeeter Davis), vocalist/bassist Justin Sullivan, a member of the group Hosanna, and up-and-coming country singer/songwriter Dave Parks.
