Exhibition Concept:

The goal of this exhibition is to highlight the work of an emerging young artist from within the state - by allowing one graduating or recently graduated college art student the opportunity to display their art in the North Wing of the Renaissance Center.  This exhibit aims to showcase the talents and abilities of Tennessee students as they seek to move into the professional exhibition arena.  Juried by a professional artist, this may be the first opportunity for many students to display work outside of their academic institution, introducing themselves to the artistic community, potential patrons, viewers and gallery representatives.

Eligible Artists:

Eligible artists must be currently enrolled in their final year of an art program at a college or have just completed their program with a graduation date between Dec. 2008 and Dec. 2009 within the state of Tennessee.  Qualifying artists must have graduated with a BA, BFA, MA, or MFA degree in an art or related field, or show significant area of study in the arts.  Artwork of all mediums will be accepted.
