Release Date: 10/24/2005. Expired: 10/29/2005

The Renaissance Center’s Rotunda will host a one-weekend display of work by members of the Sew Delightful Quilt Guild Oct. 28-29.

Organized in 2002, the Sew Delightful Quilt Guild currently has about two dozen members who not only make quilts, but also educate others on the time-honored tradition of quilt making.

The group is constantly working on charity quilts and has also done demonstrations with children, teaching them the history and techniques of making quilts. The group meets monthly in Dickson.

Several examples of guild members’ work will be exhibited in the rotunda of The Renaissance Center 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29.

Admission to art exhibits throughout The Renaissance Center is always free.
