The diverse talents of The Renaissance Center’s art faculty will be displayed May 7-June 12 in the Visual Arts Gallery.
An opening reception featuring the faculty members will be 6-8 p.m. May 7.
“This exhibit will showcase the many talented instructors we have on staff both full- and part-time at The Renaissance Center,” said Curtis Southerland, gallery curator and art instructor. “With each full-time and adjunct instructor contributing to the show, it is sure to include a wide variety of pieces.”
Southerland said the exhibit will include everything from photography, pottery and painting, to drawing, stained glass, printmaking and silkscreen, among other mediums.
“The ability of our instructors will be reflected by the wide spectrum of styles and mediums that will be exhibited,” said Camille Hickerson, senior director of the Visual Arts Department.
The Visual Arts Gallery is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Admission to the gallery and the opening reception is always free.
