Zeppelin fans will enjoy an intense experience with kaleidoscopic laser strokes of the guitar, riding a space roller coaster, being swallowed up by a sphere of stars, then sultry, abstract images, to a brilliant display of colors and designs merging, exploding, soaring and flowing across an overhead screen that spans over 6,000 square feet.

Laser Holidays opens Sat. Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $6. Suitable for all ages, families can enjoy classics such as “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” (Burl Ives), “White Christmas” (Bing Crosby), and “The Christmas Song” (Nat King Cole), mixed with newer releases like “Winter Wonderland” (Eurythmics), “Jingle Bell Rock” (Randy Travis), “Christmastime” (Smashing Pumpkins), and “All I want for Christmas is You” (Mariah Carey), and more.
Opening also on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m., is Season of Light. Tickets are $5. This show is narrated by Noah Adams from national public radios All Things Considered.
As taken from the show, “This is the time when the pulse of life slows, when the land sleeps under its winter blanket; a time for upturned collars, and hot cocoa, and the cheer of a wood fire against the gloom. It is the coldest and darkest of the seasons and yet this season holds some of the warmest and brightest celebrations of the year. And it always has. For in every age, it has always been our custom to turn this time of darkness into a Season of Light.”
“The show goes on to talk about how the season is celebrated in many cultures and the origins of the modern fixtures of the holiday; Christmas trees, the Menorah, Santa Clause,” stated Kevin Scott, director of Digital Theatre Productions. “The show also talks about the birth of Christ and offers some astronomical possibilities for the ‘Star of Bethlehem.’ The treatment is very reverent and quite positive.”
Laser Zeppelin and Laser Mania run through the end of Nov. Laser Holidays and Season of Light run through the end of Dec. For more details or to reserve tickets, call (615)740-5600.
