The Renaissance Player’s present Frankenstein: A Radio Show!

The Renaissance Center’s community theatre troupe, the prestigious Renaissance Players is excited to announce their new production, Frankenstein, sponsored by Horizon Medical Center, Dickson Apothecary and RAI Dickson.

Based on Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s timeless classic, Frankenstein is vividly brought to life through this nostalgic radio play. The audience will be mesmerized as Captain Robert Walton’s crew rescues a man stuck on an ice floe beginning the captivating story of Victor Frankenstein.

The actors will perform jingles, illustrate the story of Frankenstein and create their own sound effects all in front of the audiences’ eyes. Frankenstein is directed by Bryan J. Wlas and the cast includes local actors Karen Carlson, Megan Gallup, Rachel Jackson, Nathan Jansen, Zane Jordan, Jon Kopischke, David Mead, Yael Mead, James Reyome, Paige Songer, Vickie Songer, Daniel Thoman, Carey Thompson, Jean Thompson, Laura Williams as performers and sound effects technicians. Just in time for the eeriness of Halloween, this is an amazing production you won’t want to miss!

Peformances take place on Oct. 23 & 24 and Oct. 30 & 31 at 7pm. Tickets are $8 for children, $12 for seniors and $15 for adults. The Oct. 24th  performance features an exclusive dinner served at 6pm. Tickets the this performance and dinner are $18 for children, $22 for seniors and $25 for adults.
