Auditions for The Renaissance Player’s production of Miracle on 34th Street!
Release Date: 10/1/2009. Expired: 10/27/2009
The Renaissance Center’s esteemed community theatre troupe, the Renaissance Players is excited to announce auditions for the production of Miracle on 34th Street being held October 26th and 27th at 7pm in the Performance Hall. Performances will take place December 4-13, 2009.
As a Macy’s Santa, charming Kris Kringle personifies the holiday spirit. Unfortunately, this allure elicits distrust from his colleagues. When they deem him crazy and dangerous, they jeopardize an innocent little girl’s belief in Santa. This hilarious, tender and charming show is a Christmas classic for the entire family.
Come help spread the Christmas spirit by being part of this production! The cast includes roles for ages 5 and up. Those wishing to audition should be prepared for a cold reading of the script. No appointment is necessary. There are roles for singers such as a caroling group to sing throughout the show and a finale song with solos available. If you'd like to audition for such a role, please prepare 16 measures of a song to sing at auditions.
The Renaissance Players provides Middle Tennesseans with an opportunity to work with professional directors, actors, technicians and craftsmen to present high quality productions. For more info, please contact Amy Scott at 615-740-5551 or amy.scott@rcenter.org.
