Pump Boys and Dinettes provides amazing music and fun entertainment!
Release Date: 10/1/2009. Expired: 10/17/2009
The Renaissance Center’s newest production, Pump Boys and Dinettes, has kept the audience engaged and laughing. The nearly all sold out performances have received rave reviews! Patrons, Mr. And Mrs. Ed Konruff say, “Another fine production with excellent, talented direction, sets, music, vocals and choreography. In these tough economic times, it is a bright spot for us to be able to still enjoy these programs and theatrical productions.”
The show is running now through October 17th in the Gaslight Dinner Theatre.
In addition, the cast has been asked to perform a portion of the show at the Germantown Street Festival in Nashville on Saturday, Oct. 10th from 10:30-11:30am. This performance is free and open to the public. For more info about this event, please visit historicgermantown.org/gsf.html.
The Pump Boys sell high octane fuel on Highway 57 somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna. The sassy Dinettes, Prudie and Rhetta Cupp run the Double Cupp Diner next door. Between changing oily tires and baking scrumptious pies, the gang performs a rousing, down-home mix of country western, rock n’ roll and blues in this charming tale of friendship, romance and life’s simple pleasures.
Senior matinees are Thursdays and Fridays with lunch at 12pm and the show at 1pm. Senior matinees are $25. Evening shows are on Fridays and Saturdays for $35. Evening dinner begins at 6:30pm with the performance beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets on sale now!
