The Gaslight Dinner Theatre presents Tuesdays With Morrie!

Release Date: 4/9/2009. Expired: 5/16/2009

The Renaissance Center’s Gaslight Dinner Theatre is pleased to announce its newest production, Tuesdays With Morrie. Showing April 7th through May 16th.

The best-selling memoir of all time comes alive in this stage adaptation of Mitch Albom’s touching visits with his former college professor Morrie Schwartz, who is dying from Lou Gehrig’s Disease. These weekly visits become a pilgrimage that provide insight and one last class on the meaning of life. The play will enhance the experience audiences have had with the book. The New York Magazine states “Unforgettable! No matter how well you tell the story, the play makes it more vivid, more shattering, more humorous.”

Actors, Colin Christie and Jay Doolittle, bring an amazing range of emotions to this production, from charming wit to touching sorrow. Their stellar performance is one that can’t be missed as they bring to life the true relationship between young and old alike.

Senior matinees are offered Tuesdays through Fridays at 12pm for $25. Evening shows are at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays for $35. Both performances include a delicious meal with a main course and scrumptious dessert.

The Gaslight Dinner Theatre is an intimate 80-seat theatre in the basement level of The Renaissance Center. It is in its 9th year of offering first-rate productions using professional talent found at regional auditions.

The Renaissance Center is an arts, technology, education and performing arts center just 35 miles west of Nashville.
