Workshop to help prepare for Jesus Christ Superstar auditions

Interested in auditioning for a musical but unsure where to start? Planning to audition but still nervous about trying out? Register for the Mock Audition Workshop! This interactive, practical workshop will provide you with information on auditioning for the upcoming Renaissance Players production Jesus Christ Superstar at The Renaissance Center in Dickson. Spend the day working with professional directors as they lead you through scenes from the Jesus Christ Superstar script and give you tips on character development. Learn the dance combination used at the audition from a choreographer and give your song a practice run with our accompanist. An invaluable resource for anyone who is considering auditioning for Jesus Christ Superstar (participants need to bring sheet music and shoes for dance combination). The workshop is 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8. Tuition is $15. To register, call (615)740-5533.
