Renaissance Players to hold auditions for The Wizard of Oz

The Renaissance Players will hold open auditions for a community production of The Wizard of Oz at The Renaissance Center in Dickson on May 8, 10 and 11. Auditions for the role of Dorothy and all children will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 8. Auditions for all remaining roles will be at 6 p.m. Monday, May 10, and Tuesday, May 11. Appointments are not required and those auditioning should bring sheet music and shoes for the dance combination. An accompanist will be provided.

Rehearsals for The Wizard of Oz will begin May 13. Shows will be presented at 7 p.m. July 9-10, 16-17, 23-24 and 2 p.m. July 10, 17 and 24.

Also, if you want to be involved backstage helping with props, sets, organization, etc., come by during auditions to talk to the director.
