Timothy Weber is the Director of Visual Arts, Crafts, and Media for the Tennessee Arts Commission. He has worked as a potter, teacher, gallery owner, and arts advocate for over 25 years. Weber has an extensive list of solo exhibitions and an incredible teaching history; having held positions at Vanderbilt, University of Alabama, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and Appalachian Center for Crafts.
The two-day workshop covered everything for the beginning potter. Topics included electric kiln firing, wheel-throwing and hand-building, trimming, surface decoration, and glazing techniques.
