Ted Jones is a Professor of Art at the Tennessee State University and a premier printmaker and sculptor. He earned a B.A. degree from Xavier University, an M.A. from Michigan State University, and an M.F.A. degree from the University of Montana. He has exhibited in The Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition, Museum of Science and Industry, Museum of African American Art, Fisk University Van Vechtern Gallery, The Hunter Museum of Art, The Evansville Museum of Arts and Science and The Louisville Visual Arts Assoc. Watertower in Louisville, Kentucky. His works are in many public and private collections.
Ted presented a relief printing process using a power rotary tool. Monoprints, monotypes and multicolor module prints using representational imagery were explored.
