Senior Days
Special programs, classes and events at The Renaissance Center for the young-at-heart, ages 55 and over, offered at special prices.
Each month, certain days have been designated as Renaissance Senior Days. Senior citizens all across the middle Tennessee area are invited to participate in the entertaining and educational experiences at The Renaissance Center.

Intro to Painting on Silk
$6. This workshop will introduce students to painting with textile
dyes on silk hoops. Participants will be encouraged to
come up with their own creative designs. This lesson also
will include a brief discussion about the color wheel and
types of balance. No experience required. All materials
and some references will be provided. Student limit 20.

Christmas Ornaments Workshop
$6. Students will create their own unique Christmas ornaments.
This workshop will include painting pre-made papier-
mache and wood ornaments as well as decorating
and etching glass globe ornaments. No experience is necessary
and all materials will be provided. Student limit 20.

Christmas Sing-Along
$6. Put on your favorite red and green and join us in the Rotunda
for Christmas musical numbers performed by Jeff
Martin, Kelli Workman and other members of The Renaissance
Center's music faculty. The Senior Days program
will include a sing-along of some of your favorite
Christmas songs.

Each & Every Time You Come. . .
You’ll want to visit the Visual Arts Gallery which features a changing venue of art in many different mediums. Plan to also spend some time in the Virtually Unlimited Bookstore. A lunch buffet, sandwiches and snacks are available downstairs in the Faraday Café.
