Author Sue Alexander to sign 4th book in Resurrection Dawn series Oct. 7 at Renaissance Center
Release Date: 9/15/2005. Expired: 10/7/2005
Dickson County author M. Sue Alexander will be signing copies of the fourth novel in her Resurrection Dawn 2014 series at the Virtually Unlimited Bookstore inside The Renaissance Center 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7.
Veil of Lies is the fourth installment of a crime novel series that embraces Christian principles and is set in pre-Rapture Biblical end times. Alexander has recently completed the seventh and final installment of the series.
Alexander describes the series as “a positive, faith-based story portraying the human emotions of characters with varied opinions of God’s involvement with their lives.”
“The main character, Victoria Martin Tempest, embraces Christian principles she learned as a child, reflected in her behavior,” Alexander said. “I purposely selected characters who thought differently than Victoria because that is the way people are, each with an opinion of how they fit in society based on what they believe.”
Raised on the grounds of Western State Hospital for the mentally ill, where her father was the resident dentist for 30 years, Alexander has a vivid imagination that threads through her unusual stories. A 1958 graduate of Central High School in Bolivar, Tenn., she earned her degrees at Union University and the University of Memphis.
During the 1990s, Alexander recorded and released four gospel albums and was a BMI-affiliated writer-publisher. She also has taught school and sold real estate before retiring in 1999 and moving to Dickson County.
Copies of Resurrection Dawn 2014, The Christian Fugitive, Rebels in Paradise and Veil of Lies are available at the Virtually Unlimited Bookstore and other area stores, Borders bookstores and at Amazon.com. Alexander plans to release a new installment about every eight months until the series is completed.
